Main Events of the Month of August

Pitchoun Summer Part & DroneArt Show (mid to late August)

• Pitchoun Summer Part: a family event with fun activities for children.

• DroneArt Show (28–30 August): an exciting show combining music and dancing drones at the Hippodrome de la Côte d’Azur.

Festival d’Art Pyrotechnique in Cannes (until 24 August; key dates: 15 and 24 August)
Spectacular fireworks displays over the skies of Cannes in July and August. Not-to-be-missed evenings on 15 and 24 August.

Assumption Day Fireworks – Cannes and Vallauris

• Cannes: the Pyrotechnic Art Festival lights up the Bay with a show titled “Sound of Resonance” by the Japanese company Ikebun at 10:00 pm.

• Vallauris Golfe-Juan: on Saturday, 16 August at 10:15 pm, the sky above Plage Picasso comes alive with a “pyro-musical” fireworks display.

Festival “Au cœur de l’Argile” – Mouans-Sartoux (21–22 August)
A music festival focused on clay and earth art, now in its second edition.
