The Department of Cultural Affairs presented this Monday the program of the new season of the Théâtre du Fort Antoine, in the presence of Françoise Gamerdinger, Director of Cultural Affairs, Julien Burle, Deputy Director, and Gilles Marsan, Head of Music Programming.
This summer edition will take place from July 1 to July 29, 2025, and will offer a program that combines theatre and music in the unique and iconic setting of Fort Antoine.
As for the musical program, four concerts with varied yet complementary styles will punctuate the season. Expect jazz with the voice of Stella Cole and the piano of Thomas Enhco, Corsican music with Jean-Charles Papi, and blues and funk with African influences performed by Sanseverino.
In terms of the performing arts, theatre will also play a major role, notably with the adaptation of Carole Martinez’s novel Du Domaine des Murmures, by Jessica Astier and William Mesguich.
For the first time this year, a play titled Jamais Dormir will be dedicated to young audiences.
Another new feature this year is a reading evening, during which Charles Berling will read excerpts from Prince Albert I’s work, La Carrière d’un Navigateur.
Finally, a highlight of the season will be the third edition of Scène Ouverte, offering young artists aged 18 to 30 the opportunity to showcase their talent in the fields of dance and music.
