With the arrival of the Fête du Mimosa, Mandelieu turns into a magical place: the 2025 edition of this famous event will take place from Wednesday, February 12 to Sunday, February 16, offering visitors five days of colors, music, and traditions.

This year’s theme, “La grande vadrouille des régions,” promises to take everyone on a journey through the diverse regional traditions of France, in an explosion of colors and sounds. It’s the perfect festival for anyone who wants to experience the joy and cheerfulness of one of the most anticipated events of the year.

This year’s edition will be especially lively and engaging, with a rich program of events including parades, live music, and many other surprises. The highlight will be the grand parade on Sunday, February 16, which will stretch for over 2 kilometers, passing through the beach, harbor, and the Château de La Napoule.

Wednesday, February 12, 2025

  • Place de France: distribution of mimosa flowers at the market.
  • 3:00 PM: Children’s Carnival in Place de France.
  • 7:00 PM: Inaugural concert at the Notre-Dame du Liban Church, with mulled wine.

Thursday, February 13, 2025

  • Morning: Distribution of mimosa flowers at Place du Marché in La Napoule.
  • 8:30 PM: Election of Miss Mandelieu at the Centre Expo Congrès.

Friday, February 14, 2025

  • From 6:00 PM: Avenue Henry-Clews and Plage du Château will host the “Grand Banquet,” an evening with artistic parades, live music, and food trucks. At 8:00 PM, fireworks and a concert will follow.

Saturday, February 15, 2025

  • Morning: Distribution of mimosa flowers at Place Jeanne-d’Arc.
  • 2:00 PM / 3:30 PM: “Special Regions” Brain Olympics at the Mediatheque, an event for all ages starting from 8 years old.
  • 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM: Place de France will host the Village Fête du Mimosa with music, parades, and a creator’s market.
  • 6:30 PM: Night Parade from Capitou to Place de France, featuring twelve illuminated floats and musical animations. Food trucks will be open until 11:00 PM.

Sunday, February 16, 2025

  • From 11:00 AM: Musical atmosphere in the La Napoule district, followed at 2:30 PM by the Grand Corso and Bataille Fleurie in Avenue Henry-Clews.

  • 2:30 PM: Introduction to Cyanotype workshop, an ancient photographic printing technique with poet and artist Stéphanie Filion. An opportunity to transform treasures gathered in the castle gardens into blue photograms. After the workshop, enjoy a delicious break.

Friday, February 14, 2025

  • 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM: Poetry creation session upon request at the Château.
  • 4:00 PM: Theatrical visit in English titled “Unsung,” a performance created by Beth Blatt, former resident of the Château, telling the lesser-known stories of the Clews couple. (Also available in French on Saturday, February 15 at 4:00 PM.)
  • 5:30 PM: Opening of the participatory exhibition “Waste Not Want Not.”

  • 11:00 AM: Zine (fanzine) creation workshop for a unique artistic experience.
