Following the grand Jubilee celebrated during the 46th International Circus Festival of Monte-Carlo, which marked 50 years since its founding by Prince Rainier III, the Principality of Monaco has seen spectacular events unfold.

A Grand Parade brought the streets to life, while an Open-Air Show took place at the Palace Square to commemorate this memorable anniversary. The 47th edition of the Festival, scheduled for January 17–26, 2025, promises to extend the magic by bringing together the best circus acts from around the world.

This edition is set to be historic, with performances that will push the limits of the possible. Several records are expected to be broken during this exceptional lineup:

  • About forty animals will perform together in the ring, forming one of the largest animal presentations ever seen in circus history.
  • The famous bicycle acrobats from China will present an unprecedented act, filled with technical prowess and synchronization, never before seen in a circus ring.
  • One of the most renowned clowns of our time, from Chile, will delight the audience with his hilarious performances, promising unforgettable moments of laughter.
  • The magnificent Akhal-Teke horses from Turkmenistan will dazzle with their beauty and grace, delivering a show that combines equestrian acrobatics, harmony, and elegance.
  • Finally, Mexican trapeze artists will execute spectacular aerial maneuvers, performing a quadruple somersault under the Chapiteau dome—a feat of extreme difficulty, rarely seen.

Additionally, no fewer than twenty acts, each more impressive than the last, will enhance the program. Among them, young talents from the New Generation competition will have the opportunity to challenge more experienced artists, adding an extra dimension to this exceptional event.

This circus gathering promises to be an unforgettable occasion, celebrating both the heritage of the past and the promising talents of tomorrow, all within a breathtaking setting.
