After a four-year absence, the traditional Oktoberfest returns to the brand-new brasserie of the Café de Paris Monte-Carlo from October 18 to 27, 2024. Interrupted due to the renovation works at the Café de Paris Monte-Carlo, this annual German festival will once again be celebrated at the iconic Place du Casino, specifically on the ground-floor terrace of the brasserie.

The program features ten evenings of music and dance in a convivial and festive atmosphere. The opening night on October 18 will welcome 220 guests under a large tent adorned in blue and white, the colors of Bavaria.

This much-anticipated event for regular patrons of the Café de Paris Monte-Carlo is finally returning after four years of hiatus. The Oktoberfest will take place from October 18 to 27 on the ground-floor terrace, at the entrance to the iconic brasserie, which was revamped in November 2023.

This great popular festival will be celebrated in true tradition, with each evening offering typical Bavarian dinners, music, dancing, and beer. The terrace will be covered and decorated in the customary blue and white. The Hansi Schitter Band, renowned for their performances at Oktoberfest celebrations in Germany, will ensure a lively atmosphere, particularly on the dance floor.

The grand opening on October 18 will feature a 100% Bavarian menu crafted by Victor Marion, Chef of the Café de Paris Monte-Carlo. Dishes include a selection of cold cuts and Bavarian specialties: cured ham, spiced smoked sausage, veal liver sausage, speck, pork terrine with beer, obatzda, roast pork with horseradish cream and radishes. Other courses include beef consommé with bone marrow and julienne crêpes, “Café de Paris” choucroute royale with Riesling, Bavarian strudel with vanilla ice cream, and a selection of Bavarian mignardises with coffee.

For the remaining nine special Oktoberfest evenings, the Chef will offer unique à la carte specialties available only during this period: creamy potato soup with crispy onions and smoked bacon, pork terrine with beer and pickled vegetables, grilled Bavarian sausages with sweet mustard, sauerkraut and apple purée, beer-baked chicken with potato salad and fried onions, and pike-perch fillet with a mustard crust, Riesling sauce, and mashed potatoes.

As for desserts, the menu includes the famous Bavarian strudel with vanilla ice cream, the classic Black Forest cake with cherries, and a white cheese tart with speculoos, red fruit confit, and cinnamon sauce.

The perfect pairing of food and beer will be provided by Weihenstephan, the world’s oldest brewery, offering a fine selection of blonde and wheat beers.

These wonderful Bavarian evenings will take place on the ground-floor terrace of the Café de Paris Monte-Carlo. The brasserie and its first floor will remain open as usual in their regular configuration.
