Ceremony for the Announcement of the Prince Pierre Foundation Awards

The laureates of the 2024 edition of the Prince Pierre Foundation Awards were announced on October 8 during the proclamation ceremony held at the Opéra Garnier in Monte Carlo, in the presence of the President, H.R.H. Princess of Hanover, and hosted by Arnaud Merlin, a journalist for France Musique.

The following were proclaimed:

For Literature:

• Literary Prize: Mathieu Belezi, for the entirety of his work;
• Discovery Grant: Mokhtar Amoudi for his debut novel, Les conditions idéales;
• High School Students’ Choice Award: Cécile Tlili for her debut novel, Un simple dîner.

For Music:

• Musical Composition Prize: Hans Abrahamsen for the entirety of his work;
• Young Music Lovers’ Choice Award: Paul Novak for his work Prisms and Mirrors.

For Philosophy:

• Principality Prize, jointly awarded by the Rencontres Philosophiques and the Prince Pierre Foundation of Monaco, was presented to Souleymane Bachir Diagne for the entirety of his work.
