Concert – “Bigflo & Oli”
In collaboration with the AS Monaco sports club, celebrating its centenary in 2024, the Monaco City Hall will host the rap stars Bigflo & Oli on stage at Quai Albert Ier. Opening for the brothers from Toulouse will be the artist Olympe Chaber, taking the stage at 9:00 PM to warm up an already anticipated large crowd. Admission is by invitation only. Concert – “The Groovyboyz”

La Note Bleue Summer Festival – The Groovyboyz are a band based between San Remo and Nice, whose 1970s James Brown funk sound is intertwined with neosoul, reggae, jazz, and many other groovy influences, sometimes instrumental, sometimes vocal. Recently formed, the young band has already performed enough to create a cohesive set of original songs and will release their debut EP in 2023!

The collective exhibition CONCRETE BEACHES, ARTIFICIAL LANDSCAPES builds around a hypothetical – abstract, metaphysical, uncertain scenario. The visitor must consider it as a fictional tale in which everyone can insert their own allegory of a shared future. Each piece and object animates these fantasized futures, sometimes already realized. Inspired by the sparkling fantasies of J.G. Ballard’s first collection of short stories, Vermillion Sands (1973), the exhibition aims to stimulate imagination around hybrid narratives.

Environment – “Monaco Zero Cigarette Butts”
Several “MégotBox” (cigarette butt collection and recycling stations) are located in front of certain municipal sites: Monaco City Hall, the Higher School of Plastic Arts – Pavillon Bosio, the Rainier III Academy, the Videoteca-Fonoteca José Notari, the Louis Notari Library, the Rainier III Nautical Stadium, the Léo Ferré Space, the Condamine Market, and the Monte-Carlo Market. This initiative aims to protect the environment.

Exhibition – “The Ice Giants”
From Wednesday, April 10 to Sunday, October 6, 2024, at the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco, polar bears and emperor penguins take center stage in “The Ice Giants,” a new exhibition by Michel Bassompierre. Seven monumental works will be installed in the Oceanographic Museum and on its panoramic terrace. Five of them will be new creations: four polar bears and one three-meter-tall emperor penguin. Original drawings and sketches will also be on display, accompanied by a film presenting the artist’s work. This temporary exhibition is part of the Polar Mission organized by the Oceanographic Institute since 2022.

Exhibition – “Lascaux in Monaco”
From Friday, April 19 to Thursday, November 21, 2024, at the Museum of Prehistoric Anthropology, an original scenography organized around facsimiles and an immersive experience in Virtual Reality thanks to the #SPL LASCAUX, exclusive with the Museum Partners. Original objects from the Lascaux cave on loan from the National Museum of Prehistory (Les Eyzies, Dordogne) and the Institute of Human Paleontology (Paris) and also… Hyper-realistic reconstructions of 5 Cro-Magnons made by Elisabeth Daynes, a 1/10 scale model of the Lascaux cave with prehistoric paintings and illuminations, and interactive tables and low-tech manipulations.
