Monaco Renews Partnership with the International Institute of Humanitarian Law of Sanremo
The Princely Government, keen to promote the broadest dissemination and application of International Humanitarian Law, is renewing its partnership with the International Institute of Humanitarian Law of Sanremo, Italy.
On Friday, June 7, Madame Isabelle BERRO-AMADEÏ, Government Counselor for External Relations and Cooperation, signed a financing agreement with Lieutenant General Giorgio BATTISTI, President of the International Institute of Humanitarian Law of Sanremo, renewing for an additional two years the Princely Government’s support for the legal training activities organized by the Institute.
Founded in 1970 in Sanremo, the Institute is a recognized center of academic excellence working in close collaboration with the most important international organizations dedicated to the humanitarian cause.
Since 2020, the Princely Government has supported training activities in the fields of international humanitarian law, human rights, and refugee law, notably by facilitating the participation of representatives from developing countries.
