On April 25, 2024, Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II, Princess Charlene, and the Princely Children visited Hamburg to inaugurate the Monaco section at the famous Miniatur Wunderland Museum. They were accompanied by Ms. Isabelle BERRO-AMADEÏ, Counselor-Minister of External Relations and Cooperation, and H.E. Mr. Lorenzo RAVANO, Monaco’s Ambassador to Germany.
This inauguration marks the culmination of a project launched six years ago, with a cost of nearly 5 million euros, entirely covered by the museum, Germany’s top attraction with 1.4 million annual visitors.
Beyond the meticulous work required for its realization, this reconstruction is characterized by innovation, as the “mini-Principality” houses a world first: a fully automated Formula 1 Grand Prix managed by artificial intelligence.
Following the inauguration, a cocktail reception was held with the Princely Family, attended by around a hundred personalities and friends of the Principality.
