Is honesty always the best policy, especially when it comes to those closest to us? If this play is to be believed, the answer is yes. Tonight though, one way or another it’s all going to come out, and we’re in for a treat.<\/p>\nExhibition – “Whispers of the Wildlife”<\/h4>\n
\nMy childhood, marked by the absence of photos, nurtured my love for photography. Initially drawn to street photography, my encounter with wildlife in South Africa during the Covid pandemic in 2021 changed my perspective. Moved by the beauty and vulnerability of wild animals, I decided to dedicate a significant portion of my time to documenting them. In August 2023, my first exhibition in Nice was a success, reinforcing my belief in the power of photography for change. I am now committed to raising awareness through my images.<\/p>\nExhibition – “Pasolini in Chiaroscuro”<\/h4>\n
\nThe new exhibition at Villa Sauber honors Pier Paolo Pasolini, perhaps the last European intellectual to have gained worldwide renown. A half-century on from his death, his influence can still be felt across the different fields in which he worked: he is read, commented on, adapted, and inspires contemporary creative artists. While he preferred to describe himself as a writer, it was his films that brought him to the public\u2019s attention. The exhibition looks at his inspirations and his legacy.<\/p>\nExhibition – “The Image Beyond The Pixel”<\/h4>\n
\nFor this third “Renc\u2019art” event during Video Game Month, the Library is paying tribute to the work of Jean Jacques Calbayrac, alias Game Boy Cameraman, with a collection of his photographs from the archives giving visitors the chance to see his series about Monaco, the city of his birth.<\/p>\nExhibition – “Mission Polaire”<\/h4>\n
\nExperience an interactive and immersive journey! Put yourself in the shoes of a reporter and go on a mission in the heart of the polar worlds! Five thematic areas, spread over two levels, punctuate this new path of the visit. From the discovery of the poles to the wildlife they host, passing through the people who inhabit and explore them. Objects and documents, digital content, and immersive devices combine and complement each other for a 360\u00b0 experience. The great journey can begin!<\/p>\nExhibition – “Pier Paolo Calzolari – Casa ideale”<\/h4>\n
\nPier Paolo Calzolari is known for the formal originality of his multidisciplinary practice (painting, sculpture, but also performances understood as “acts of passion”), which often resorts to the use of organic materials such as tobacco leaves, fire, or frost to create “installation works” that question the limits of contemporary art. A retrospective exhibition, “Casa ideale” is a rare opportunity to discover the world of an artist who has left his mark on the history of art through his often unconventional approach to various practices of the plastic arts.<\/p>\n
