The countdown to the 29th Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique<\/strong> has officially begun. Entries for the new edition, organized by the Automobile Club de Monaco<\/strong>, opened on September 14, 2026<\/strong>, giving historic motorsport enthusiasts the opportunity to apply for one of the most iconic events on the international historic rally calendar.<\/p>\n

The rally will take place from January 27 to February 3, 2027<\/strong>, continuing a tradition that began in 1998 and has been built around historic cars, mountain roads and regularity stages that have made the Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique a highly anticipated event among motorsport enthusiasts.<\/p>\n

The 2027 edition confirms several of the innovations introduced in 2026, while also bringing important new features, starting with an expanded selection of eligible vehicles.<\/p>\n

Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique 2027: who can take part?<\/h2>\n

The main change concerns the eligibility of vehicles. For the 29th edition of the Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique<\/strong>, applications can be submitted for historic cars that competed between 1911 and 1986<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The following day, January 29<\/strong>, the rally will reach Pont-de-l\u2019Is\u00e8re<\/strong>, marking the beginning of the next stage of the competition.<\/p>\n

The route will then enter the Vercors massif<\/strong>, with the first timed stages, including Col Gaudissart\/Bouvante<\/strong> and Col de Tourniol\/Barbi\u00e8res<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The winding roads and elevation changes of the French hinterland will once again provide one of the defining challenges of the rally, testing the crews\u2019 precision and their ability to maintain the required regularity speeds.<\/p>\n

From the Diois to the Alps: the decisive phase<\/h2>\n

On February 1, 2027<\/strong>, the rally will move towards the Diois massif<\/strong> and the Aup mountain<\/strong>, including a passage over the Col de Carab\u00e8s<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The competition will then enter its final phase, with the route gradually moving towards the Monaco region.<\/p>\n

The final stage, scheduled for Tuesday, February 2<\/strong>, will introduce another organizational change: staggered starts every 30 seconds<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Crews will face more than 500 kilometers<\/strong>, crossing some of the most challenging sections of the route.<\/p>\n

The most eagerly awaited moment will come in the evening, with the return to the Principality.<\/p>\n

The finish at Port Hercule in Monaco<\/strong> is scheduled from 7:50 p.m.<\/strong>, bringing competitors back to the heart of the Principality after a long day of competition.<\/p>\n

This will lead into the official conclusion of the event on Wednesday, February 3, 2027<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

As tradition dictates, the Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique will end with the Gala Evening and Awards Ceremony<\/strong>, held at the prestigious Salle des \u00c9toiles at Sporting Monte-Carlo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
