Menton is preparing to become the international capital of eFoil for one weekend.<\/strong> On Saturday, September 12, and Sunday, September 13, 2026, the bay of Les Sablettes will host the final round of the 2026 Surf Foil World Tour (SFT)<\/strong>, the international circuit bringing together some of the world\u2019s best riders in the discipline.<\/p>\n

The event, known as La Frech<\/strong>, is organized by Plume Tech<\/strong>, a French company specializing in high-performance eFoil technology. The competition will be decisive in determining the 2026 SFT World Champion<\/strong>, with international riders arriving in Menton ready to battle for victory in the final showdown of the season.<\/p>\n

Two Days of Racing in the Bay of Les Sablettes<\/h2>\n

The event will take place in the spectacular setting of the Bay of Les Sablettes<\/strong>, overlooking Menton\u2019s Old Town. Admission is free, allowing the public to watch the races and enjoy the various activities organized throughout the weekend.<\/p>\n

In addition to the Surf Foil races, the program will feature pump foil demonstrations<\/strong>, giving spectators the opportunity to discover the world of electric hydrofoiling and see the techniques used by professional riders up close.<\/p>\n

eFoil combines an electric propulsion system with hydrofoil technology, allowing the board to lift above the surface of the water. This significantly reduces drag and enables riders to reach high speeds while creating a unique sensation of flying above the water.<\/p>\n
