The Societ\u00e0 Dante Alighieri \u2013 Monaco Committee<\/strong> is preparing to launch its new 2026\u20132027 cultural season<\/strong> with a diverse programme focusing on the relationship between tradition and innovation, memory and the future, art and science.<\/p>\n

Throughout the season, conferences, theatrical performances, film screenings, musical events and meetings with leading figures from the worlds of culture, science and the arts will offer new perspectives on Italian heritage and its role in contemporary society.<\/p>\n

The central theme of the programme is \u201cItaly in Dialogue Between Past and Future\u201d<\/strong>, a concept that will accompany the entire season and highlight the importance of dialogue as a means of cultural exchange and international cooperation.<\/p>\n

Dante Alighieri Monaco: the 2026\u20132027 season opens with a focus on health<\/h2>\n

The first event is scheduled for Thursday, September 17, 2026, at 6:30 pm<\/strong> at A Casa d\u2019i Soci \u2013 La Maison des Associations<\/strong>, 2 bis Promenade Honor\u00e9 II, Monaco.<\/p>\n

Admission is free, and the evening will feature Dr Paolo Di Muro<\/strong>, nutritional educator and Cellular Medicine nutraceutical consultant, who will address a fundamental question: \u201cIs health really the first duty of life?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

The meeting will also present Di Muro\u2019s book, \u201cUn piatto di salute\u201d<\/strong>, published by the Ente Ospedaliero Cantonale \u2013 Cardiocentro Ticino, where the author worked for twenty years in the Preventive and Rehabilitation Cardiology Department.<\/p>\n

The event will focus on the relationship between nutrition, prevention and wellbeing<\/strong>, offering an opportunity to explore the importance of health education and scientific knowledge in contemporary society.<\/p>\n

The programme continues on October 14<\/strong> with \u201cBallet and Artificial Intelligence \u2013 Copp\u00e9l-i.A.\u201d<\/strong>, an event organised in collaboration with Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo<\/strong> and AI Monaco<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The evening will explore the relationship between dance, creativity and artificial intelligence, inspired by the ballet Copp\u00e9lia<\/em> and the myth of Pygmalion.<\/p>\n

The event will be moderated and hosted by Geoffroy Staquet<\/strong>, dramaturge of Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo, and Leonardo Fabbri<\/strong>, founder of AI Laboratory Monaco and a member of the Dante Alighieri \u2013 Monaco Committee.<\/p>\n

October 19, 2026 \u2013 Dialogue, the Word that Builds the Future<\/h3>\n

On October 19<\/strong>, the programme will feature \u201cDialogue, the Word that Builds the Future\u201d<\/strong>, organised in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy in the Principality of Monaco<\/strong> as part of the 26th Week of the Italian Language in the World<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The evening will explore the importance of words and dialogue as essential tools for building relationships, culture and peaceful coexistence, with the participation of renowned Italian writer and journalist Massimo Gramellini<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

November 9, 2026 \u2013 Parole \/ Note Live<\/h3>\n

On November 9<\/strong>, \u201cParole \/ Note Live \u2013 Quello che siamo\u201d<\/strong> will bring together poetry, music and images in an emotional artistic journey.<\/p>\n

The performance will celebrate the power of words and the richness of the Italian language through a dialogue between different forms of artistic expression.<\/p>\n

November 18, 2026 \u2013 La Pazza Gioia<\/h3>\n

Italian cinema takes centre stage on November 18<\/strong> with a screening of \u201cLa Pazza Gioia\u201d<\/strong>, one of the most significant films of contemporary Italian cinema.<\/p>\n

The evening will provide an opportunity to reflect on themes including vulnerability, freedom and solidarity. The event was conceived and promoted by Dante Alighieri member Roberta Apicella<\/strong>, who will moderate the discussion following the screening.<\/p>\n

On December 10, 2026<\/strong>, Dante will return to the heart of the programme with the conference \u201cFrom National Symbol to Pop Icon: The Uses and Abuses of Dante in the 20th and 21st Centuries.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Professor Fulvio Conti<\/strong> will examine the evolution of Dante Alighieri\u2019s image in contemporary culture, exploring how the poet has been reinterpreted and represented throughout the 20th and 21st centuries.<\/p>\n

January 2027: an evening with Eleonora Abbagnato<\/h2>\n

The new year will begin on January 13, 2027<\/strong>, with a screening of the documentary \u201cEleonora Abbagnato \u2013 Una stella che danza\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The event will pay tribute to one of the most acclaimed Italian dancers on the international stage, celebrating her artistic career and her experience of cultural exchange.<\/p>\n

The conference, entitled \u201cClelia Durazzo: A Pioneer of Italian Botany\u201d<\/strong>, will be presented by Maria Tavano<\/strong>, Curator of the \u201cG. Doria\u201d Civic Museum of Natural History in Genoa.<\/p>\n

The event is scheduled for May 2027<\/strong>, on May 19, 20 or 21, with the final date still to be confirmed.<\/p>\n
