The Princess Grace Hospital Centre (CHPG)<\/strong> in Monaco has reached another major milestone in its ambitious redevelopment project. On Monday, July 13, 2026<\/strong>, an official key handover ceremony<\/strong> was held, marking the transfer of the new hospital building to its healthcare teams and symbolizing the transition from construction to operational preparation.<\/p>\n

The ceremony was attended by H.S.H. Prince Albert II<\/strong>, Minister of State Christophe Mirmand<\/strong>, Minister of Public Works, Environment and Urban Development C\u00e9line Caron-Dagioni<\/strong>, Minister of Social Affairs and Health Christophe Robino<\/strong>, Director of the Princess Grace Hospital Centre<\/strong> Beno\u00eete Rousseau de Sevelinges<\/strong>, along with numerous representatives of the Principality.<\/p>\n

A strategic milestone for Monaco’s healthcare system<\/h2>\n

The handover of the keys marks one of the most significant stages in the modernization and expansion of Monaco’s CHPG<\/strong>, a long-term project led by the Princely Government to provide the Principality with a modern, future-ready public hospital.<\/p>\n

The new building has been designed to meet the demands of contemporary healthcare, offering state-of-the-art facilities, advanced medical technologies, and flexible spaces capable of adapting to future healthcare needs.<\/p>\n

Healthcare teams begin preparing the new facility<\/h2>\n

With the official delivery of the building, hospital staff will now begin occupying the premises. Over the coming months, doctors, nurses, technicians, and healthcare professionals will install equipment, test medical systems, and organize clinical operations ahead of the hospital’s opening to patients.<\/p>\n

This phase will allow staff to become familiar with the new environment while ensuring a safe and efficient transition of healthcare services.<\/p>\n
