The theme is \u201cCannes durable: imaginons la ville de demain!\u201d (\u201cSustainable Cannes: let’s imagine the city of tomorrow!\u201d), and excerpts from the participants’ stories will be read during the event. Admission is free.<\/p>\n

At 3:00 pm<\/strong>, also at the M\u00e9diath\u00e8que Noailles, \u201cJournal de voyage avec Andr\u00e9 Malraux, \u00e0 la recherche des arts du monde entier\u201d<\/strong> explores Malraux’s relationship with art. On Saturday, September 26 at 10:30 am<\/strong>, Les Arcades cinema, 77 rue F\u00e9lix-Faure<\/strong>, screens Les 3 vies de Gundermann<\/em>, directed by Andreas Dresen in 2023. The director is attending the festival, which continues on Sunday, September 27.<\/p>\n

Saturday evening, at 7:30 pm<\/strong>, Cin\u00e9ma Olympia<\/strong>, on rue de la Pompe, screens Knock<\/em> by Guy Lefranc as part of the Play It Again!<\/strong> festival. The film, starring Louis Jouvet, offers another way to end the day with a classic of French cinema. Admission is \u20ac7, with a \u20ac6.50 cinema-lover rate.<\/p>\n

Cannes markets: Saturday, September 26 among antiques, local produce and crafts<\/h3>\n

The March\u00e9 Brocante des All\u00e9es de la Libert\u00e9<\/strong>, also at 1 All\u00e9e de la Libert\u00e9, takes place on Saturday, September 26 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm<\/strong>. It is particularly appealing to visitors looking for vintage objects, antiques and unusual finds.<\/p>\n

Another option is the March\u00e9 Gambetta<\/strong>, at Place Gambetta<\/strong>, open on Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27 from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm<\/strong>. The market is known for clothing and leather goods, as well as fruit and vegetables, seafood and flowers.<\/p>\n

To the west of the city, in the La Bocca district, the March\u00e9 de La Bocca<\/strong>, at Place du March\u00e9<\/strong>, is open on both Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27 from 7:30 am to 1:00 pm<\/strong>. Visitors will find food products, fruit and vegetables, flowers, locally caught fish and other goods, while Saturday also features a clothing market.<\/p>\n

The March\u00e9 Saint Jin-Jin<\/strong>, on the other hand, is not held during the weekend: it takes place on Tuesday and Friday mornings. It will therefore not be open on Saturday, September 26 or Sunday, September 27.<\/p>\n

Sunday morning offers a free musical event in the heart of Cannes. At 11:30 am<\/strong>, the Kiosque \u00e0 musique at the All\u00e9es de la Libert\u00e9<\/strong> hosts \u201cLes Moments Musicaux de Forville\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

At 10:30 am<\/strong>, Olympia cinema, 5 rue d’Antibes<\/strong>, screens Un \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 Berlin<\/em>, directed by Andreas Dresen in 2005. The film follows the everyday lives of two friends and the residents of their Berlin apartment building.<\/p>\n

For cinema lovers, this makes it possible to build a weekend itinerary around German cinema, while also discovering the other exhibitions and cultural events taking place throughout Cannes.<\/p>\n
