It is <strong data-start=\"379\" data-end=\"424\">the first startup incubated at MonacoTech<\/strong> to be selected as part of <strong data-start=\"451\" data-end=\"508\">an industrialization call supported by Horizon Europe<\/strong>, the European Union\u2019s <strong data-start=\"531\" data-end=\"583\">main funding program for research and innovation<\/strong>, led by the <strong data-start=\"596\" data-end=\"653\">European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"656\" data-end=\"969\">Among <strong data-start=\"662\" data-end=\"721\">hundreds of applications from across the European Union<\/strong>, this distinction rewards <strong data-start=\"748\" data-end=\"793\">several years of research and development<\/strong> carried out by <strong data-start=\"809\" data-end=\"830\">Valentino Iakimov<\/strong>, founder of <strong data-start=\"843\" data-end=\"858\">Sea Further<\/strong>. His work focuses on <strong data-start=\"880\" data-end=\"968\">bio-optimized carbon produced through an internationally patented biological process<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"971\" data-end=\"1279\">Committed to environmental sustainability, the company develops <strong data-start=\"1035\" data-end=\"1084\">graphene modified using marine microorganisms<\/strong>.
