Thanks to the work carried out over recent decades, black truffles have found a favourable habitat here, confirming the PACA region\u2019s role as a land of excellence.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1518\" data-end=\"1757\">The market will feature <strong data-start=\"1542\" data-end=\"1585\">exclusively local truffles and products<\/strong>: no imports and no artificial flavourings. Truffles will be <strong data-start=\"1646\" data-end=\"1700\">hand-harvested in the days leading up to the event<\/strong>, ensuring freshness, authenticity and full traceability.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1759\" data-end=\"1803\"><strong data-start=\"1763\" data-end=\"1803\">An experience of taste and discovery<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1804\" data-end=\"2078\">More than just a market, the event offers an immersive experience. Visitors will be able to meet producers, enjoy <strong data-start=\"1918\" data-end=\"1930\">tastings<\/strong>, attend <strong data-start=\"1939\" data-end=\"1991\">truffle-hunting demonstrations with trained dogs<\/strong>, and learn more about a sustainable agricultural model rooted in traditional know-how.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2080\" data-end=\"2346\">Among the key figures are <strong data-start=\"2106\" data-end=\"2136\">four local truffle growers<\/strong>, including <strong data-start=\"2148\" data-end=\"2169\">Michel Santinelli<\/strong>, President of the PACA Regional Federation of Truffle Growers, and <strong data-start=\"2237\" data-end=\"2259\">Philippe de Santis<\/strong>, President of the Var Truffle Growers\u2019 Union and owner of the <strong data-start=\"2322\" data-end=\"2345\">Domaine de Majastre<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2348\" data-end=\"2387\"><strong data-start=\"2352\" data-end=\"2387\">Local treasures beyond truffles<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2388\" data-end=\"2631\">Alongside truffles, around <strong data-start=\"2415\" data-end=\"2432\">15 exhibitors<\/strong> will present regional specialities such as <strong data-start=\"2476\" data-end=\"2613\">artisan foie gras, local honey, AOP Bellet wines, saffron, escargots, homemade jams, organic extra virgin olive oil, poultry and eggs<\/strong> from local farms.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2633\" data-end=\"2777\">There will also be a space dedicated to <strong data-start=\"2673\" data-end=\"2693\">artisanal crafts<\/strong>, featuring bronze sculptures, porcelain and wood painting, and traditional cutlery.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2779\" data-end=\"2828\"><strong data-start=\"2783\" data-end=\"2828\">Gastronomy, prizes and festive atmosphere<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2829\" data-end=\"3122\">Throughout the day, visitors can take part in a <strong data-start=\"2877\" data-end=\"2911\">raffle to win a gourmet hamper<\/strong>, including local products and <strong data-start=\"2942\" data-end=\"2972\">150 grams of black truffle<\/strong>.
