In a global context marked by rapid technological, environmental, and social transformations, scientific culture is increasingly essential to understanding the present and shaping future choices. It is with this vision that \u201cParlons Sciences\u201d<\/strong> was created \u2014 a new lecture series promoted by the Monegasque National Commission for UNESCO<\/strong> and the Caroline Media Library<\/strong>, in collaboration with the association Sciences pour Tous 06<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The initiative aims to bring science out of laboratories and specialist circles, creating a space for dialogue and exchange between researchers, experts, and the general public. Science is not reserved for specialists alone: it permeates everyday life, informs collective decision-making, and inspires innovative solutions to tomorrow\u2019s challenges. Yet, it is often perceived as complex or distant. \u201cParlons Sciences\u201d seeks to break down these barriers by fostering direct, clear, and stimulating exchanges.<\/p>\n

The programme features high-level talks led by renowned researchers and university lecturers, covering a wide range of topical subjects: from astrophysics to artificial intelligence, from ecological transition to health, and the human sciences. Each lecture is designed to be accessible to everyone, with no prior knowledge required, and encourages audience participation through questions and discussion.<\/p>\n

This lecture series represents a strong commitment to the democratisation of scientific knowledge<\/strong>, promoting critical thinking, curiosity, and innovation. It is aimed at students, professionals, families, and anyone wishing to gain a deeper understanding of the world around them, within a spirit of lifelong and shared learning.<\/p>\n

The Monegasque National Commission for UNESCO<\/strong> acts as a link between the institutions of the Principality and UNESCO\u2019s programmes, helping to disseminate the Organisation\u2019s values and activities in the fields of education, science, and culture. Located in the heart of Monaco, the Caroline Media Library<\/strong> is a modern and welcoming cultural space of over 2,500 m\u00b2, open to all and free of charge, dedicated to informal learning, intergenerational exchange, and creativity.<\/p>\n

Fully integrated into a rich and diverse cultural programme, the \u201cParlons Sciences\u201d series stands as an open invitation to participation: science is a collective adventure<\/em>, and these lectures offer everyone the opportunity to become part of it.<\/p>\n
