On Friday, January 23, 2026<\/strong>, H.E. Minister of State Christophe Mirmand<\/strong> chaired the fourth meeting of the Steering Committee<\/strong> on the global strategy to combat corruption<\/strong>, within the framework of the 5th evaluation cycle of the Group of States against Corruption (GRECO)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The meeting allowed the Committee to make a progress report<\/strong> on the actions implemented<\/strong> to address the recommendations issued by GRECO<\/strong> in its Monaco evaluation report of June 21, 2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Following preparatory discussions and decisions made during the first three meetings, members now have a common and coherent vision<\/strong> of the issues concerning the high executive functions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

These efforts have laid the foundation for a realistic strategic framework adapted to the institutional specificities of the Principality<\/strong>, designed to be implemented operationally<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

According to H.E. the Minister of State:<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cThe activities of the Steering Committee are part of a rigorous and constructive dynamic<\/strong>, reflecting a clear intention to progressively and pragmatically strengthen national mechanisms for the prevention and fight against corruption<\/strong>. The orientations decided are the result of the involvement of all relevant entities<\/strong> and demonstrate the attention given to these sensitive issues at the highest executive level<\/strong>, in line with the will of H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The work of the Steering Committee will continue<\/strong> to complete the development of the global strategy to combat corruption<\/strong> applicable to high executive functions<\/strong>, together with its operational action plan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This strategy and action plan<\/strong> will soon be made public by the Princely Government<\/strong>, marking an important and structuring step<\/strong> in the strengthening of Monaco\u2019s national anti-corruption framework<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
