Prince Albert II<\/strong> undertook an important and symbolic journey on <strong data-start=\"553\" data-end=\"577\">Tuesday, November 25<\/strong>, in <strong data-start=\"582\" data-end=\"593\">Liguria<\/strong>, combining <strong data-start=\"605\" data-end=\"626\">historical memory<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"631\" data-end=\"665\">cultural heritage preservation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"670\" data-end=\"1326\">In <strong data-start=\"673\" data-end=\"688\">Stella (SV)<\/strong>, the Prince was welcomed by <strong data-start=\"717\" data-end=\"744\">Mayor Andrea Castellini<\/strong>, local <strong data-start=\"752\" data-end=\"767\">authorities<\/strong>, and numerous <strong data-start=\"782\" data-end=\"794\">citizens<\/strong>. He paid tribute to <strong data-start=\"815\" data-end=\"833\">Sandro Pertini<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"835\" data-end=\"890\">President of the Italian Republic from 1978 to 1985<\/strong> and a beloved figure of the 20th century. The Sovereign <strong data-start=\"947\" data-end=\"976\">laid a wreath on his tomb<\/strong>, highlighting Pertini\u2019s <strong data-start=\"1001\" data-end=\"1031\">courage during World War I<\/strong>, his <strong data-start=\"1037\" data-end=\"1064\">anti-fascist commitment<\/strong>, and his <strong data-start=\"1074\" data-end=\"1108\">central role in the Resistance<\/strong>. The visit continued with the <strong data-start=\"1139\" data-end=\"1225\">exploration of the remains of the medieval castle belonging to the Grimaldi family<\/strong>, and concluded at the <strong data-start=\"1248\" data-end=\"1279\">Sandro Pertini House-Museum<\/strong>, where the <strong data-start=\"1291\" data-end=\"1312\">official speeches<\/strong> took place.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1328\" data-end=\"1804\">In the afternoon, <strong data-start=\"1346\" data-end=\"1373\">H.S.H. Prince Albert II<\/strong> traveled to <strong data-start=\"1386\" data-end=\"1396\">Andora<\/strong>, welcomed by <strong data-start=\"1410\" data-end=\"1436\">Mayor Mauro Demichelis<\/strong>. There, he <strong data-start=\"1448\" data-end=\"1535\">unveiled the official plaque of the r\u00e9seau des Sites Historiques Grimaldi de Monaco<\/strong>, an initiative aimed at promoting sites linked to the history of the dynasty. The Sovereign also <strong data-start=\"1633\" data-end=\"1703\">inaugurated the restoration works of the Clavesana \u2013 Paraxo castle<\/strong>, owned by the Grimaldi in the <strong data-start=\"1734\" data-end=\"1750\">13th century<\/strong>, concluding the visit with the <strong data-start=\"1782\" data-end=\"1801\">adjacent church<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1806\" data-end=\"2229\">The Prince\u2019s journey in Liguria carried a strong <strong data-start=\"1855\" data-end=\"1880\">symbolic significance<\/strong>: linking the <strong data-start=\"1894\" data-end=\"1926\">memory of historical figures<\/strong> such as Pertini with the <strong data-start=\"1952\" data-end=\"2004\">promotion of architectural and cultural heritage<\/strong> that bears witness to the long shared history between <strong data-start=\"2059\" data-end=\"2101\">Liguria and the Principality of Monaco<\/strong>.
