With ten months to go before La Vuelta 2026 departs from Monaco<\/strong>, the Vuelta 2026 Steering Committee<\/strong> has unveiled the official routes<\/strong> that will take place in the Principality for this major sporting event<\/strong> of next year.<\/p>\n

After having launched the Giro in 1966<\/strong> and hosted the Grand D\u00e9part of the Tour de France in 2009<\/strong>, Monaco<\/strong> is preparing to vibrate once again to the rhythm of cycling<\/strong>, becoming the only city in the world to have hosted the start of all three Grand Tours<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThrough this sporting event, we have the opportunity to show the world another side of our country, one that promotes popular sport in its noblest sense. Hosting La Vuelta is far more than a celebration of sport, of its athletes, and of performance in a demanding discipline. It is a symbol of openness and international influence<\/strong> for our country, which, I remind you, is the World Capital of Sport in 2025<\/strong>,\u201d declared H.S.H. Prince Albert II<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u201cToday, we are 300 days away from the Grand D\u00e9part of La Vuelta 26<\/strong>, and Monaco is ready to write a new page in its brilliant sporting history<\/strong>,\u201d stated H.E. Mr. Christophe Mirmand<\/strong>, Minister of State<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u201cMonaco is synonymous with sporting excellence and organizational expertise<\/strong>. Launching La Vuelta here is both an honor and a guarantee of success for everyone involved<\/strong>,\u201d added Javier Guill\u00e9n<\/strong>, General Director of La Vuelta<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The festivities<\/strong> will begin on Thursday, August 20, 2026<\/strong>, with the official team presentation<\/strong>.
The highlight<\/strong> of these four days will be the individual time trial of 9.6 km<\/strong>, on Saturday, August 22<\/strong>, starting from Place du Casino<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The route<\/strong>, entirely drawn within the streets of Monaco, will showcase the Principality\u2019s most iconic landmarks<\/strong>:<\/p>\n
