From September 29 to October 4, Nice once again becomes the stage for dialogue between the written page and the language of moving images. The seventh edition of Cin\u00e9roman<\/strong> lights up the city with a program weaving together competition, premieres, encounters with authors, and special screenings.<\/p>\n

An exceptional jury<\/h3>\n

The jury will be presided over by Sandrine Kiberlain<\/strong>, joined by a panel of artists and writers: Vassili Schneider, Justine L\u00e9vy, Alice Taglioni, Sayyid El Alami, Pierre Deladonchamps, and Dani\u00e8le Thompson, a longstanding presence since the festival\u2019s very first edition, founded by Daniel and Nathalie Benoin.<\/p>\n

Films in competition<\/h3>\n

At the Path\u00e9 Gare du Sud<\/strong>, audiences will discover major literary adaptations, ranging from intimate dramas to animation:<\/p>\n

    Premieres and surprises<\/h3>\n

    Cin\u00e9roman is not just about competition: the program also includes eagerly awaited premieres<\/strong>, such as T\u2019as pas chang\u00e9<\/em> by J\u00e9r\u00f4me Commandeur with Vanessa Paradis, La Bonne \u00c9toile<\/em> by Pascal Elb\u00e9, Qui brille au combat<\/em> by Jos\u00e9phine Japy, Le gang des Amazones<\/em> by Melissa Drigeard, La femme la plus riche du monde<\/em> by Thierry Klifa with Isabelle Huppert, and Furcy, n\u00e9 libre<\/em> by Abd Al Malik with Romain Duris.<\/p>\n

    Rialto and special events<\/h3>\n

    New this year, the Rialto cinema<\/strong> joins the festival\u2019s venues, hosting cult films such as Dead Poets Society<\/em> and the highly anticipated international premiere of Chronology of Water<\/em> starring Kristen Stewart.<\/p>\n

    The festival also features masterclasses, documentaries, and conversations<\/strong>: from Lumi\u00e8re, l\u2019aventure continue<\/em>, presented by Thierry Fr\u00e9maux, General Delegate of the Cannes Film Festival, to new works such as D\u2019un monde \u00e0 l\u2019autre<\/em> by J\u00e9r\u00e9mie Renier and Les R\u00eaveurs<\/em> by Isabelle Carr\u00e9.<\/p>\n
