It makes it possible to assess functional abilities, learn appropriate gestures, and prevent risks at home, particularly thanks to the contribution of new technologies.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"661\" data-end=\"880\">Its creation and development were made possible thanks to a generous donation of \u20ac150,000 from the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation, whose President and Founder, Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, is a loyal supporter of CHPG.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"882\" data-end=\"1097\">Operational since September, the connected apartment is fully in line with the ambitions of the CHPG\u2019s 2025\u20132030 institutional project, which places improving the patient experience at the heart of its priorities.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1099\" data-end=\"1362\"><strong data-start=\"1099\" data-end=\"1117\">Just like home<\/strong><br data-start=\"1117\" data-end=\"1120\" \/>Consisting of two rooms, the space recreates the main living areas (bedroom, kitchen, bathroom); it adapts to each person\u2019s abilities thanks to modular and motorized furniture, integrating equipment suitable for motor and sensory disorders.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1364\" data-end=\"1629\">It includes several zones for evaluating and supporting patients according to their autonomy and mobility. The integration of home automation makes it possible to analyze usage scenarios and adjust layouts to ensure comfort and safety for patients living at home.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1631\" data-end=\"1679\">This project addresses several key objectives:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1680\" data-end=\"1885\">\n<li data-start=\"1680\" data-end=\"1740\">\n<p data-start=\"1682\" data-end=\"1740\">Assess capacities and identify situations of disability,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1741\" data-end=\"1837\">\n<p data-start=\"1743\" data-end=\"1837\">Support the return home by offering personalized strategies for compensation and adaptation,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1838\" data-end=\"1885\">\n<p data-start=\"1840\" data-end=\"1885\">Prevent domestic risks, particularly falls.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1887\" data-end=\"2052\">It will also make it possible to supervise therapeutic education sessions, enabling patients to better manage their condition\/disability by taking ownership of it.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2054\" data-end=\"2298\"><strong data-start=\"2054\" data-end=\"2090\">Promoting autonomy and home care<\/strong><br data-start=\"2090\" data-end=\"2093\" \/>This system is a valuable tool within patient care pathways, including day hospital stays. It allows for in-depth functional assessments and targeted management plans that promote autonomy and home care.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2300\" data-end=\"2544\">Integrated into rehabilitation, re-education, and therapeutic education pathways, this project aims to strengthen patients\u2019 independence and optimize their ability to remain at home under the best possible conditions, for as long as possible.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2546\" data-end=\"2690\">It also has an educational role, serving as a training tool for caregivers, nursing and care assistant students, as well as family caregivers.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2692\" data-end=\"2866\">Thanks to role-playing and usage scenarios, everyone can learn proper techniques, experiment with suitable solutions, and enhance the safety and autonomy of elderly people.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2868\" data-end=\"3394\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Princess Grace Hospital Centre inaugurated on September 15, 2025, within the geriatrics department, the connected housing simulator, which represents a major step forward in supporting patients with loss of autonomy and their caregivers.
