This milestone reaffirms the movement\u2019s commitment to promoting a healthy, sustainable, and fair food culture in the Principality.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"711\" data-end=\"1161\">The evening, curated by vice-president <strong data-start=\"750\" data-end=\"767\">Antonio Fochi<\/strong>, was filled with aromas, smiles, and conviviality. Among the attendees were <strong data-start=\"844\" data-end=\"878\">HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"883\" data-end=\"935\">H.E. Manuela Ruosi, Italian Ambassador to Monaco<\/strong>, who joined guests on a gastronomic journey inspired by the theme <strong data-start=\"1002\" data-end=\"1020\">\u201cMare Nostrum\u201d<\/strong>: Lebanese, Corsican, Italian, Monegasque, and Spanish specialties paired with Georgian wines celebrated the richness of the Mediterranean.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1163\" data-end=\"1505\">The celebration was further highlighted by messages from two symbolic figures of Slowfood: <strong data-start=\"1254\" data-end=\"1271\">Alain Ducasse<\/strong>, honorary president of the convivium, emphasized the importance of local and seasonal cuisine; while <strong data-start=\"1373\" data-end=\"1390\">Carlo Petrini<\/strong>, founder of the movement, reminded everyone of the central role of local products in fostering conscious eating.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1507\" data-end=\"1896\">With emotion, president <strong data-start=\"1531\" data-end=\"1552\">Jean-Pierre Rouss<\/strong> announced his intention to hand over to the next generation after years of tireless dedication. The evening, enhanced by live violin and guitar music and dishes prepared with local ingredients, also honored Dr. <strong data-start=\"1764\" data-end=\"1777\">Guy Nervo<\/strong>, CEO of the <strong data-start=\"1790\" data-end=\"1828\">Centre Cardio-Thoracique de Monaco<\/strong>, for his commitment to providing high-quality meals for patients.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1898\" data-end=\"2148\">Solidarity was at the heart of the celebration as well: thanks to a <strong data-start=\"1966\" data-end=\"1984\">charity raffle<\/strong> and a private donation, the Monegasque association <strong data-start=\"2036\" data-end=\"2053\">Soupe de nuit<\/strong> received a check for <strong data-start=\"2075\" data-end=\"2085\">\u20ac4,500<\/strong>, earmarked for essential goods to support the needy in Nice.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2150\" data-end=\"2453\">The 25th anniversary of the Convivium was not only a celebration but also a <strong data-start=\"2226\" data-end=\"2243\">new beginning<\/strong>.
