Cagnes-sur-Mer is ready to host one of the most anticipated and beloved events of the summer season: on Saturday, August 16th, the 28th edition of \u201cPromenade en F\u00eate\u201d<\/strong> returns, a traditional celebration that transforms the famous Promenade de la Plage into a large pedestrian area animated by a rich program of events for all ages. Every year, thousands of visitors gather along the seafront to enjoy a magical evening full of music, entertainment, and community spirit.<\/p>\n

An event for everyone, free and open to all ages<\/strong>
\u201cPromenade en F\u00eate\u201d remains a popular, inclusive festival designed to offer fun for all generations. The event is completely free and offers a wide variety of entertainment, from live music to activities for children and adults, culminating in a spectacular fireworks display over the sea at 10:15 PM, which has been delighting audiences for years with its play of lights and colors reflected on the water.<\/p>\n

Five stages, five musical atmospheres<\/h3>\n

From 8:30 PM to midnight, five stages scattered along the seafront will host an intense musical marathon catering to a wide range of tastes: from classic pop and rock with Orchestre Memories<\/strong>, to electronic and dance beats from DJ FYT, to Latin and Cuban rhythms with Mezcla Pa\u2019Ca<\/strong>. There will also be high-energy moments with the Queen tribute band Galileo<\/strong>, gypsy rhythms with San Fuego<\/strong>, and to close the evening, DJ Mika<\/strong> will spin modern disco tunes to keep the party alive till the end.<\/p>\n

Fun and entertainment for children and adults<\/h3>\n

The festival is not just about music: it\u2019s a true celebration for all ages. For the little ones, free activities include a giant inflatable course, protected trampolines, a giant slide for children aged 6 to 12, and a large pirate-themed course.
Teenagers and adults can challenge themselves with the D\u00e9fi Ninja<\/strong>, an obstacle course inspired by popular TV shows that tests agility and speed. For younger children, a mini firefighter-themed sports course is also available.<\/p>\n

Dining and services for a carefree evening<\/h3>\n

Seafront restaurants will expand their terraces to welcome visitors in a convivial atmosphere where they can enjoy local dishes while watching live performances. Given the expected large crowd (over 20,000 people), advance booking is recommended.
Traffic on Promenade de la Plage will be closed from 6:00 PM on August 16th until 4:00 AM the next morning, between boulevard Kennedy and avenue Jean Jaur\u00e8s.
To facilitate visitors, the municipality offers 2,000 free parking spaces at the Hippodrome, open from 6 PM to 1 AM, and free parking in all metered zones of the city starting at 6 PM.<\/p>\n
