Discover the magic of summer at the MAR in Ventimiglia!<\/strong><\/p>\n

From July 1st to August 31st, the \u201cGirolamo Rossi\u201d Civic Archaeological Museum offers a vibrant program of activities designed to engage both adults and children through archaeology, contemporary art, nature, and play.<\/p>\n

Evening openings and art exhibitions<\/strong>
The museum extends its hours with special evening openings every Friday and Sunday from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM<\/strong>. The summer exhibition season opens on Thursday, July 3rd at 4:00 PM<\/strong> with the vernissage of “From Earth to Light”<\/em>, a show by artist Kevin Flynn<\/strong>, on display until July 27th<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Talks and excursions among ancient rock art and mountain landscapes<\/strong>
On Friday, July 4th at 9:15 PM<\/strong>, Danila Allaria<\/strong> and Ivano Ferrando<\/strong> will lead a conversation with video projections comparing the rock carvings of the Valley of Wonders<\/strong> and Val Camonica<\/strong>, introducing the guided hike to Fontanalba<\/strong> scheduled for Sunday, July 6th<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, July 17th<\/strong>, the MAR will organize an educational trip on the \u201cTrain of Wonders\u201d to Tende<\/strong> and the Mus\u00e9e des Merveilles<\/strong>, marking the 107th anniversary of Clarence Bicknell\u2019s<\/strong> death. Departure from Ventimiglia at 10:39 AM<\/strong>, return from Tende at 6:32 PM<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Family activities and candlelight visits<\/strong>
Every Saturday morning from July 5th<\/strong>, the museum invites families with children to join in playful activities involving intuition, observation, and creativity. On Sunday, July 13th and 27th at 9:15 PM<\/strong>, the popular event “The Museum under the Stars”<\/em> returns, featuring video projections and candlelight tours<\/strong> to explore the museum in a more immersive and atmospheric way.<\/p>\n

Workshops for everyone<\/strong>
Throughout the summer, visitors of all ages (from 6 to 99!) can take part in fun, educational workshops inspired by the museum\u2019s collection\u2014reservations required<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
