CHPG accelerates its digital transformation with the integration of the Smartspeed artificial intelligence module, which enhances the performance of its MRI.<\/strong>
This advancement significantly reduces examination time while increasing image resolution, enabling faster and more accurate diagnoses.<\/p>\n

Notably, in cases of suspected stroke, this tool will be crucial during angio-MRI sequences (for diagnosing stenosis or occlusion of a distal arteriole) or ASL sequences (to study cerebral parenchymal perfusion and detect non-perfused areas), as it helps shorten stroke management times and improve patient outcomes.<\/p>\n

This innovative module was acquired and put into service in December 2024, thanks to a generous donation from Mr. Dmitry Rybolovlev, and was inaugurated on Wednesday, March 12, in the MRI department.
“I would like to thank the Princess Grace Hospital Center and its director, Mrs. Beno\u00eete Rousseau de Sevelinges, for allowing me to contribute to the modernization of CHPG\u2019s technical equipment. As a trained physician interested in new technologies, I know how crucial a fast and accurate diagnosis is in medical conditions. It is fantastic that Monaco now has new equipment capable of detecting various diseases, including severe ones like strokes. I am pleased to once again support the Hospital Center and the people of the Principality,” said Mr. Dmitry Rybolovlev.<\/p>\n

“Thanks to this innovative solution and the generosity of donor Mr. Dmitry Rybolovlev, the hospital will be able to treat a larger number of patients by reducing MRI waiting times and optimizing the patient journey,” stated Beno\u00eete Rousseau de Sevelinges, Director of the institution. “This acquisition perfectly aligns with our commitment to improving the patient experience.”<\/p>\n

For Government Councilor and Minister Christophe ROBINO, “AI opens up enormous possibilities for predictive medicine and early disease detection. This strategic investment, made possible thanks to Mr. Dmitry Rybolovlev, whom I sincerely thank, exemplifies Monaco\u2019s commitment to excellence in medicine, at the crossroads of technological innovation and human-centered care that must always guide our actions.”<\/p>\n

A unique MRI configuration<\/strong><\/h3>\n

This new SmartSpeed module is a major asset for CHPG\u2019s imaging department, enhancing the MRI’s technological capabilities. Since 2021, the MRI unit has also been equipped with HIFU\u2014high-intensity focused ultrasound under MRI guidance\u2014for the non-invasive treatment of uterine fibroids, a technology available in only two hospital centers in the France-Monaco region.<\/p>\n

Il CHPG accelera la sua trasformazione digitale con l\u2019integrazione del modulo di intelligenza artificiale Smartspeed, che migliora le prestazioni della risonanza magnetica.<\/strong>
Questa innovazione permette di ridurre significativamente i tempi degli esami, aumentando al contempo la risoluzione delle immagini e offrendo diagnosi pi\u00f9 rapide e precise.<\/p>\n

In particolare, nei casi di sospetto ictus, questo strumento sar\u00e0 di fondamentale aiuto nelle sequenze di angio-RM (per la diagnosi di una stenosi o occlusione di un\u2019arteriola distale) o nelle sequenze ASL (per studiare la perfusione del parenchima cerebrale e individuare le aree non perfuse), poich\u00e9 consente di ridurre i tempi di gestione dell\u2019ictus e migliorare la prognosi dei pazienti.<\/p>\n

Questo innovativo modulo \u00e8 stato acquisito e messo in servizio nel dicembre 2024, grazie a una generosa donazione del Sig. Dmitry Rybolovlev, ed \u00e8 stato inaugurato mercoled\u00ec 12 marzo nel reparto di risonanza magnetica.

In quanto medico di formazione e appassionato di nuove tecnologie, so quanto sia fondamentale una diagnosi rapida e accurata delle patologie. \u00c8 straordinario che Monaco disponga ora di un\u2019attrezzatura all\u2019avanguardia capace di rilevare diverse malattie, tra cui alcune molto gravi come gli ictus. Sono felice di poter essere nuovamente di supporto al Centro Ospedaliero e ai cittadini del Principato,” ha dichiarato il Sig. Dmitry Rybolovlev.<\/p>\n

“Grazie a questa soluzione innovativa e alla generosit\u00e0 del donatore, Sig. Dmitry Rybolovlev, l\u2019ospedale potr\u00e0 trattare un numero maggiore di pazienti, riducendo i tempi di attesa per la risonanza magnetica e ottimizzando il percorso di cura,” ha sottolineato Beno\u00eete Rousseau de Sevelinges, Direttrice della struttura. “Questa acquisizione si inserisce perfettamente nella nostra strategia di miglioramento dell\u2019esperienza del paziente.”<\/p>\n

Una configurazione di risonanza magnetica unica nel suo genere<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Il nuovo modulo SmartSpeed rappresenta un vero valore aggiunto per il dipartimento di imaging del CHPG, completando l\u2019arsenale tecnologico della risonanza magnetica. Dal 2021, l\u2019unit\u00e0 di risonanza magnetica \u00e8 inoltre dotata di HIFU\u2014ecografia focalizzata ad alta intensit\u00e0 con guida RM\u2014per il trattamento non invasivo dei fibromi uterini, una tecnologia disponibile solo in due centri ospedalieri nell\u2019area Francia-Monaco.<\/p>\n
