For its fifth edition, the Sea Days<\/strong> return to Menton on the Esplanade des Sablettes with three days full of activities, games, boat trips, and some exciting new features, all focused on the conservation of marine biodiversity.<\/p>\n

Organized by the French Riviera Community, the Sea Days are an event entirely dedicated to protecting the marine environment. The French Riviera coast, with its extraordinary biodiversity, is a protected area. The marine area known as “Cap Martin” is part of the European Natura 2000 network, established to preserve sites of high environmental value.<\/p>\n

The 16 kilometers of coastline are home to underwater fauna and flora of immense heritage value. Among the most notable species are the Posidonia meadows, the bottlenose dolphin, the long-spined sea urchin, the fan mussel, and the loggerhead turtle.<\/p>\n

During these three days, environmental experts, associations, and local partners will take turns showcasing the incredible variety of animal and plant species found along our coasts. They will also promote best practices at sea and along the shoreline, explaining how to protect and act for their preservation.<\/p>\n
