Convention on the Law of the Sea, held from June 10 to 14, 2024, Mr. Florian Botto, First Secretary of Monaco&#8217;s Permanent Mission to the UN, reaffirmed the Principality&#8217;s full commitment to the protection of the ocean and its resources, the fight against the effects of climate change, and science.<br \/>\nMonaco is the first European state to have ratified the Agreement on the Conservation and Sustainable Use of Marine Biodiversity last May, thereby demonstrating its full commitment to a future where the oceans are adequately protected.<br \/>\nThe Principality will host the Blue Economy and Finance Forum on June 7 and 8, 2025, on the eve of the 3rd United Nations Conference on the Implementation of the Sustainable Development Goal dedicated to the
