From Liguria to Cannes, fashion designer Luca Moretti stands alone in representing Made in Italy with great stylistic and cultural excellence during the collateral events that orbit around the 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, held from May 14 to 25. This edition saw the return of Meryl Streep as the guest of honor for the opening ceremony, an actress who has become a part of the collective imagination in masterpieces like The Devil Wears Prada<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Luca, after gaining veteran experience on the battlefield in Milan on Via Monte Napoleone by presenting his collections, and later at fairs where Dario Ballantini, alias Valentino, from Striscia la Notizia<\/em> wore creations made by the fashion designer, continued his journey to Rome, London, Paris, Versailles, and Lugano. Today, he is recognized and featured in the top industry-specific magazines, boasting a long-standing harmonious relationship across the Alps. Upon debuting, he immediately captured attention, asserting that having style is not about rules but about attitude, personality, and character. It is also important to have intuition, to be ahead of the times by intersecting skills, quality, discipline, and organizational talents that go beyond the ordinary and conventional. We Italians in fashion have an unmistakable taste, and the unique creativity we bring to life makes us stand out worldwide.<\/p>\n

Previously present with a stunning dress of undisputed style representing the beauty of Italianism on the Croisette in the Principality of Monaco, he has presented for this new occasion a dress that is nothing short of exquisite, histrionic in its beauty, and with a cosmopolitan mood.<\/p>\n

Described by the foreign press as the alchemist designer, this time the Ligurian fashion designer highlights the importance of creating a style starting from the craftsmanship’s technical development to the final visual effect. The textile use of precious Como satin mixed with silver filigree, crystals, and bright coatings in colors ranging from blue to light blue, white, and amaranth red in contrast with the natural dyed thread process fully respects the guidelines for human and environmental respect.<\/p>\n
